Friday, April 24

  • Senior Fair and Expo, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wentzville Community Club, 500 West Main Street. Information booths, health, financial and professional services; vendors, free lunch, free bingo from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Must RSVP to 636-639-2151

Saturday, April 25

  • Spring Garden Gnome 5K Run/Walk, 7:15 registration, race starts at 8:30 a.m., National Information Solutions Cooperative, Lake Saint Louis. Contact Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce for more information, 636-327-6914
  • Earth Day at Broemmelsiek Park. 9 a.m. to noon, 1795 Highway DD. Plant and seed swap, electronics recycling, educational programs, crafts and kids activities, guided hike. For more info, contact St. Charles County Parks, (636) 949-7535
  • Journey West, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Home in Defiance, 1868 Highway F, Defiance. Interactive family event about pioneers preparing to travel west. Admission: $12 adults, $10 Seniors, $6 Children.
  • St. Charles Firearm and Military Collectibles Show, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles. Over 500 tables, admission $10.
  • Victorian Festival, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fort Zumwalt Park, O’Fallon. Victorian skit, re-enactment of horse drawn funeral procession honoring Abraham Lincoln’s death at Heald Home, plus Victorian hat contest, mustache contest, kids’ crafts, food trucks. Free admission and parking.
