A 48-year-old Wentzville woman was injured in a one-car crash Friday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Cherrle D. Vanscoyk was westbound on Interstate 64 east of Prospect Road at 3:14 p.m.
Vanscoyk was driving too fast for the roadway conditions, the MSHP report noted. The 2004 Kia Sorrento she was driving traveled off the left side of the road and began to overturn. The car ended up in the eastbound lanes.
Vanscoyk sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital. She was wearing a safety belt.
