The following reports for October 3 – 9, 2016 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the Wentzville Police Department. The word “arrest” is used in the Wentzville PD’s database to refer both to actual arrests and to the issuance of a summons. Neither is an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.


Monday, October 3

  • A 50-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana at 12:01 a.m. on Highway 61 at Highway P.
  • A 25-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and as a fugitive at 12:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Continental Drive.
  • A 46-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence/assault at 4:13 a.m. on Ruggeri Drive.
  • Domestic violence was reported in the 7100 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 10:21 a.m.
  • A sex offense was reported in the 600 block of South Linn Avenue at 1:57 p.m.
  • Fraud was reported in the 700 block of Wrausmann Drive at 4:19 p.m.
  • Fraud was reported in the 600 block of East Pearce at 8:09 p.m.

Tuesday, October 4

  • Terrorist threats were reported by Wentzville School District at 8:25 a.m. in the 500 block of East Highway N. The report was prompted by student postings on social media and were related to the spate of “scary clown” incidents seen nationwide. Mary LaPak, the district’s community relations director, said that the district takes all threats seriously and that they work closely with the police to investigate any threats. The clown threats did not pose a concern for student safety, but were a disruption to the school day.
  • A burglary was reported at Wentzville Music on Corporate Parkway at 12:11 p.m.
  • A 28-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s at 4 p.m.
  • A 46-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart at 5:17 p.m.
  • After a traffic stop on Interstate 70 at 6:40 p.m., a 26-year-old male was arrested for failure to register vehicle and failure to appear/contempt of court.
  • A 46-year-old male was arrested for speeding in an accident reduction zone, failure to yield in an accident reduction zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and littering, and a 29-year-old female was arrested as a fugitive at 9:29 p.m. on Highway 61 at Timber Trace.
  • Stealing was reported in the 500 block of Northview Park Court at 10:33 p.m.
  • A 23-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked and no license plate lamp at 11:07 p.m. on Interstate 64.

Wednesday, October 5

  • Property damage was reported at Heritage Primary on Blumhoff Avenue at 9:45 a.m.
  • A 50-year-old male was arrested for failure to register vehicle, displaying another person’s plates, no insurance, and driving while suspended at 10:44 a.m. on East Pitman at Luetkenhaus.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the first block of West Main Street at 1:29 p.m.
  • A 35-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence/assault at 3:45 p.m. on Juno Drive.
  • Domestic violence was reported on Juno Drive at 5:15 a.m.
  • A 28-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a 21-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:43 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Pearce Boulevard.

Thursday, October 6

  • A 37-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and as a fugitive at 11:12 a.m. on Luetkenhaus Boulevard.
  • A 43-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear/contempt of court, and as a fugitive at 12:04 p.m. in the 1300 block of Black Bear Drive.

Friday, October 7

  • A peace disturbance was reported at Holt High School at 8:49 a.m. (Related to the “scary clown” reports referenced on October 4.)
  • Stealing was reported in the 100 block of Brookshire Creek Drive at 10:13 a.m.
  • A peace disturbance was reported at 10:29 a.m. at Wentzville Middle School. (Again related to the “scary clown” reports referenced on October 4.)
  • Stealing was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 10:52 a.m.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of East Pearce Boulevard at 11:25 a.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 200 block of Old Chesapeake Drive at 5:11 p.m.

Saturday, October 8

  • A 30-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked and failure to signal at 12:05 a.m. on Highway 61 at North Point Prairie.
  • A 27-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 12:39 a.m. on Mall Parkway.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 5100 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 12:58 a.m.
  • A 41-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana at 2:53 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Pearce.
  • Domestic violence was reported in the 500 block of Prairie Creek Court at 7:30 a.m.
  • A runaway/missing person was reported in the 1600 block of Westshyre Drive at 4:24 p.m.
  • A 43-year-old male was arrested for DWI-alcohol persistent offender, driving while revoked, no insurance and no valid motorcycle license at 8:51 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Pearce.

Sunday, October 9

  • Property damage was reported in East Main Street at South Linn at 10:18 a.m.
  • A 35-year-old male was arrested for failure to appear/contempt of court and as a fugitive, and a 20-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting at 12:21 p.m. at Target.
  • A disturbance/fight was reported at 1:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Highway Z.
  • A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Wall Street at 1:54 p.m.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:14 p.m. in the 500 block of West Main Street.
  • Domestic violence was reported at 9:15 p.m. in the 700 block of Dale Avenue.
  • An 18-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and a 17-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug parapernalia at 9:58 p.m. on Interstate Drive at Cimarron Ridge Crossing.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Stone Post Lane at 10:04 p.m.
