Wentzville, O’Fallon Pools Open for the Season on Saturday, May 28

Schools are out and pools are open! Check out the operating hours of our local swimming pools:

O’Fallon

Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center opens for the summer on Saturday, May 28 with swimming, diving, water slides, a lazy river, and a water playground. The hours of operation are:

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday
  • 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday
  • 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday
  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday

The aquatic center is open daily until August 14, and open weekends until Labor Day.

Special promotional days include free sunglasses for the first 75 guests on opening day, May 28 and on June 27; Honor Roll Day on June 12, a Summer Solstice Party on June 18; free admission for dads on Father’s Day.

Alligator’s Creek can also be rented for special events and birthday parties. Check out the Recreation Guide for more information.

Wentzville

Both Splash Station Aquatic Center and Progress Park Pool open on Saturday, May 28 for the 2016 season.

  • Splash Station Aquatic Center is open Monday to Friday from
    noon until 6:30 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Progress Park Pool is open Monday to Friday from noon to 5:45 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Progress Park Pool offers swimming, lessons, and a water slide. Splash Station has a dive pool, lazy river, water flume, spray ground, water basketball, and zero-entry pool.

Special events include free admission for dads on Father’s Day with a paid child; a free Fourth of July swim at Progress Park; Family Swim Nights on June 12, July 10, and August 14 with one free child admission with a paid adult; and “Give Back” Swim Days, with discounted admission for donations of food items and school supplies. The swim season will run through August 10, except in cases of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. After August 10, both pools will remain open on weekends until September 5, as well as Labor Day, Monday, September 5.
