Applications are now being accepted for artists and crafters for the 2nd Annual Wentzville Octoberfest Wine and Art Festival on October 8 and 9.
The festival in Wentzville’s Historic Downtown Village Center has been extended to a two-day event that will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
The juried art display is sponsored by the Crossroads Arts Council. Cash prizes–including $500 for Best in Show–will be awarded to winning artists. Artists can find more information on the Octoberfest website.
The festival’s wildly popular Wine, Craft Beer & Spirits Tasting Tent will be open all weekend. For $20, festival patrons can taste the best of the region’s wine, craft beer and spirits. The festival will also feature three stages with musical acts, fine art demonstrations, dancers, and much more.
The Children’s Village will feature autumn themed activities and games for the kids, and a variety of street food vendors will also be on hand.
Single-day VIP passes may be purchased in advance for $50. Group VIP tickets also available at $380 for a table of eight. VIP privileges include special seating, drink tickets and unlimited food tastings, private restrooms, and a souvenir wine glass and tote.
