A 35-year-old from Wentzville sustained minor injuries after being run over by a boat on the Mississippi River Saturday.
Anthony C. Carrillo of Wentzville was piloting a 2011 Seadoo on the Mississippi River at the 222 mile marker at about 6:39 p.m. when he collided with a 33-foot Formula 330 driven by a 51-year-old man from St. Louis.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division, Carrillo was ejected from the Seadoo and was run over by the boat. Carrillo, who was wearing a safety device, sustained minor injuries and was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles by ambulance.
According to MSHP online arrest records, Carrillo faces possible boating while intoxicated charges.
