Wentzville Man Charged with Stealing Wallet, Fleeing Police at Casino

Dejuan Lamaris Glass, of the 800 block of Patricia Court in Wentzville, was charged with stealing and resisting arrest after an incident at the Ameristar Casino on July 15.

According to court documents, Glass was identified by casino surveillance taking a patron’s wallet off a chair and leaving the property.

Glass reported fled from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper who attempted to contact him. A casino patron also unsuccessfully attempted to help apprehend Glass, who was eventually tased by a trooper and taken into custody.

The stolen wallet, which contained multiple credit cards and $400 in cash, was found in one of Glass’ pockets, police said.

Glass was charged with felony stealing and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only, 10 percent not authorized.
