Wentzville Board of Aldermen May 9 Agenda: Feasibility study for new rec center

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen will meet on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Wentzville City Hall. On the agenda for the meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the public:

  • Recognitions for STEM awards and CAPS awards
  • Presentation of feasibility study for multigenerational rec facility
  • Public hearing and resolution for liquor by the drink and live entertainment at Friendship Brewery, and a site plan for the addition of a pavilion/shade canopy
  • Public hearing for a conditional use permit for outdoor storage and display at Home Depot
  • Public hearing and first reading of a rezoning of 4.32 acres at 558 Prairie Wind Drive from general commercial to agricultural
  • Site plan for a building and pavement addition at 160 Enterprise Drive
  • Public hearing and first reading of an amended final development plan for Pinewoods Estates on Interstate Drive
  • Public hearing and resolution for liquor by the drink for Sakura Hibachi and Sushi at 1119 West Pearce
  • First reading for the record plat for Synergy Chiropractic, 1015 Meyer Road
  • Amended preliminary development plat for Westhaven – WITHDRAWN by applicant
  • Amended preliminary development plat for Autumn Trace Parkway – WITHDRAWN by applicant
  • Consent agenda: minutes, resolution for agreement with Playtime Party Center for erosion control, resolution for agreement to fund larger water main at the Woodlands at Providence, appointments to boards and commissions
  • Final approval of ordinance to accept public improvements at Stonemoor phase 3
  • Final approval of an agreement with St. Charles County for mosquito control services
  • Resolution for purchase of easements and right of way at 2401 West Pearce for $275,137  for the construction of David Hoekel Parkway
  • Resolution of funding applications for Wentzville Parkway South, Intersection signal at West Pearce and Meyer, Peine Road safety improvements, and Great Oaks Boulevard extension design
  • Resolution for purchase of easements and right of way at 2591 West Pearce for a total of $62,905  for construction of David Hoekel Parkway
  • Resolution for purchase of easements and right of way at 1023 South Point Prairie Road for $19,239 for construction of David Hoekel Parkway
  • First reading of amendment to city code about liquor sales near churches and schools
  • First reading of amendment to city code about the composition of the Downtown Committee
  • Discussion about funding the grand opening of Jake’s Field of Dreams playground

The agenda also allows for public comment time and reports from the aldermen, the mayor, and the city administrator.
