Wentzville Board of Aldermen February 13 agenda: Pavilions at Heartland Park, medical marijuana discussion

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen will meet on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Wentzville City Hall.

On the agenda for the meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the public:

  • Swear in corrections personnel
  • Final approval of annexation for 70.69 acres on the south side of Goodfellow Road, west of North Point Prairie
  • Public hearing, site plan and resolution for conditional use permit for Midland Park Self Storage
  • Public hearing and first reading of rezoning of .86 acres at the northeast corner of South Point Prairie and Interstate Drive
  • Public hearing and resolution for conditional use permit for Premier Pet Care at 1 and 3 Tiffany Lynn Court
  • Consent agenda: reappointment to board of adjustment; grant applications, purchase of vehicles for public works/community development, site plan improvements for the Junction, agreement for engineering services, resolution for agreement for the the Great Oaks Boulevard extension, resolution for improvements for Crystal Creek and Summerbrook Estates, acquisition of rights of way for the Wentzville Parkway Turn Lane Phase 2
  • Final approval of amendment to traffic code about the speed limit on East Pearce (establishes 35 mph limit from Luetkehaus to Edinger Road, with warnings on curves)
  • Final approval of the acceptance of public improvements at Synergy Chiropractic
  • Final approval of the acceptance of public improvements at Oaks at Lexington Plat 3
  • Final approval of an intergovernmental cooperation and reimbursement agreement for the County-Wide Trails Master Plan (Wentzville to contribute $4,400)
  • Resolution for filing a grant for Peine Road shouldering and resurfacing
  • Resolution for filing a grant for West Pearce resurfacing
  • Resolution for filling a grant for the Route Z/Interstate Drive right turn lane
  • Resolution for an agreement for the construction of two pavilions at Heartland Park
  • Resolution for a grant application for recreational trails
  • Resolution for a letter of support for the reconstruction of Quail Ridge Drive from Quail Ridge Park to Duello Road
  • First reading of the acceptance of improvements at Wentzville Bluffs Lot 2B
  • First reading of an agreement for the West Pearce/Meyer Road signal
  • First reading of an agreement for Wentzville Parkway South Phase 1
  • First reading vacating easements at Stone Ridge Canyon Plat 8 lot 668
  • First reading of an agreement with Florissant (use of indoor pool for lifeguard certification)
  • First reading of an amendment to the city seat belt code
  • Extension request for Rolwes/Hynes tract development plan (North Point Prairie Road)
  • Minimum wage impact for Parks & Rec ($35,000 in 2019)
  • Special event in-kind services for Blue Line Run
  • Discussion about medical marijuana

The agenda also allows for public comment time and reports from the aldermen, the mayor, and the city administrator.
