Friday, November 18

  • Treasure Chest’s Holiday Craft and Expo, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., St. Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles. 150 booths, raffles, door prizes. Free admission.
  • Teen Gaming Club, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Corporate Parkway Branch Library, Wentzville. Super Smash Brothers on the Wii U, additional board games and strategy games. Snacks provided. Ages 12-18.
  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Pre-Black Friday Vendor Fair, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Dardenne Elementary School, 2621 Highway K, O’Fallon. Raffles for gift baskets, prizes for students. Holiday shop for kids to buy gifts for their families. Pancake dinner at 5:30 p.m., admission $5 per person.
  • Winterfest Grand Opening Party, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Meadows Shopping Center, Lake Saint Louis. Ice skating rink opens.

  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.

Saturday, November 19

  • Lake Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Winter Market, 9 a.m. to noon. Meadows shopping center parking lot.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, 2750 Highway K, O’Fallon. Drop in for a friendly game of chess, no registration required.
  • Trail Work Day, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Matson Hill Park, 670 Matson Hill Road, Defiance. Bring gloves, boots, safety glasses. Lunch will be served, pre-registration recommended online or by calling 636-707-0011.
  • Treasure Chest’s Holiday Craft and Expo, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., St. Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles. 150 booths, raffles, door prizes. Free admission.
  • Jumbo Jenga and Jumbo Connect 4, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Boone’s Trail Branch Library. Families welcome.
  • International Games Day, 2 p.m. 4 p.m., Corporate Parkway Branch Library, Wentzville. Drop in and play a variety of board games.
  • Holiday Night Lights Turkey Dash 5K and Fun Run, 4 p.m., Rotary Park, Wentzville. Registration starts at 4 p.m. First 100 receive a shirt. Costume contest before race – best team, best male, best female. 5K costs $30, Fun Run costs $25. Register at (636) 332-9236.
  • Blind Turkey Toss Tourney, 5 p.m., Indian Camp Creek Park, 2679 Dietrich Road, Foristell. Disc golf glow. Day-of registration only. $10 per person.
