Friday, March 10

  • St. Charles Boat Show, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., St. Charles Convention Center. Adults $5, Children 5 and under $5.
  • Leprechaun Shenanigans, 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., Corporate Parkway Library, Wentzville. Crafts and activities.
  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.

Saturday, March 11

  • Gold Coin Challenge, all day, Boones Trail Branch Library. Preschoolers and school age.
  • Wentzville St. Patrick’s Day Guiness Challenge 5K run, 8 a.m. Course runs throughout historic downtown Wentzville.
  • Wentzville St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Leap 1-mile run, 8:30 a.m. Course runs throughout historic downtown Wentzville.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, O’Fallon. Drop in for a game of chess. All skill levels welcome.
  • Wentzville St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 10 a.m. Starts at the Wentzville School District offices, east on West Pearce Boulevard and ends on Linn Street.
  • Soap Making, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Historic Daniel Boone Home at Lindenwood Park, 1868 Highway F, Defiance. Hands-on, family-friendly activity. Register online.
