  • Public Stargazing – Mars Featured Planet, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.
  • The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., O’Fallon Municipal Centre, 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon. Children’s musical, $10 general admission, $12 at the box office.

Saturday, June 18

  • Endurance Bike Race, all day, Indian Camp Creek Park, 2679 Dietrich Road, Foristell. Register online.
  • Lake Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Market, 8 a.m. to noon. Meadows shopping center parking lot.
  • USPCA Region 16 police K-9 trials, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fort Zumwalt North High School, 1230 Tom Ginnever Ave., O’Fallon. Free admission and parking.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, 2750 Highway K, O’Fallon. Drop in for a friendly game of chess, no registration required.
  • Lego Club Jr., 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Corporate Parkway Library, Wentzville. Listen to a story and build with Legos. For ages 3-6.
  • Library Obstacle Course, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Middendorf-Kredell Library, O’Fallon. Preschoolers and school-age children can test their library skills.
  • Wine Country Fest, Defiance, MO, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Farmer and artisan merchants.
  • Pride St. Charles Festival, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 370 Lakeside Park, St. Peters. 2nd annual LGBT Pride Festival, featuring music, vendors, health information, food and drink, family fun area.

Lady Pirates

  • The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., O’Fallon Municipal Centre, 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon. Children’s musical, $10 general admission, $12 at the box office.
