Looking for some fun things to do this weekend? 70 West Sentinel has rounded up some family-friendly activities in St. Charles County, including Wentzville’s famous Rod Run car cruise, fishing at Fort Zumwalt Park, and the fourth weekend of the Renaissance Faire.

Friday, June 5

  • Rod Run, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Pearce Boulevard, Wentzville.
  • Stargazing at Broemmelsiek Park, 1615 Schwede Road, Wentzville. Weather permitting, starts at dusk. St. Charles County Parks Department and the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri. Free admission, advance registration required for large groups.

Saturday, June 6

  • Lake Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Market, 8 a.m. to noon. Meadows shopping center parking lot.
  • St. Louis Renaissance Festival, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, Rotary Park in Wentzville, 2577 West Meyer Road. Jousting, live entertainment, period vendors, food, contests. See website for pricing.
  • Movie in the Pool, 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Splash Station Aquatic Center, Wentzville. Free showing of Wizard of Oz for Resident Card Holders and Aquatic Pass Holders.

Sunday, June 7

  • Wentzville Community Club Flea Market, 6 a.m., 354-388 West Main Street, Wentzville. 400 vendor spaces. No animals allowed.
  • Free Family Fishing Day, 8 a.m. to noon, Fort Zumwalt Park, O’Fallon. Catch-and-release fishing, plus worm races, casting contest, reel race.
  • St. Louis Renaissance Festival, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, Rotary Park in Wentzville, 2577 West Meyer Road. Jousting, live entertainment, period vendors, food, contests. See website for pricing.
  • National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Me Time Studios, 1155 Wentzville Parkway #115. Paint a cancer awareness ribbon. 20 percent of gross sales will be donated to a cancer foundation picked from submissions by participants. $35, register online.
