Looking for some fun things to do this weekend? 70 West Sentinel has rounded up some family-friendly activities in St. Charles County, including a craft day at Broemmelsiek Park and dinosaur activities at Boone’s Trail Branch Library.

Friday, February 19

  • Teen Gaming Club, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Corporate Parkway Library. Play Super Smash Brothers on Wii U, plus board and strategy games. Snacks provided. Ages 12 – 18.
  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.

Saturday, February 18

  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, O’Fallon. Drop in for a game of chess. All skill levels welcome.
  • Craftapalooza, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Ages 6 to 12. Indoor craft fun. Register online.
  • The Great Train Expo, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saint Charles Convention Center. Model train show, exhibits, kids’ activities. $11/adults, kids 11 and under free.
  • All Day Dinosaur Fun, Boone’s Trail Branch Library. Dig for bones, enjoy dinosaur crafts. Preschoolers, school age.
  • Chocolate Olympics, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Library. Chocolate games and snacks. Grades 4 to 8. Register online.

Sunday, February 19

  • Wentzville Community Club Flea Market, 6 a.m., Wentzville. Listen to KFAV for weather cancellations.
  • The Great Train Expo, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saint Charles Convention Center. Model train show, exhibits, kids’ activities. $10/adults, kids 11 and under free.
