Friday, December 2

  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Christmas Candlelight Tours, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Historic Daniel Boone Home at Lindenwood Park, 1868 Highway F, Defiance. Hot cider, carolers, holiday traditions of the 1800s. $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Register online.
  • Christmas Traditions, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Historic Main Street, St. Charles. Jack Frost and Friends, 7 p.m. at Berthold Square. Marshmallow Roast with the Legends of Christmas, 7 p.m. at Bike Stop Café. Candlelight procession to the gazebo, 8:45 p.m.
  • Lake Saint Louis Tree Lighting, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Meadows Shopping Center, Lake Saint Louis. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, carriage rides, music, Santa.
  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.

Saturday, December 3

  • Santa Party, all day at the Youth Activity Park, 7801 Highway N, Dardenne Prairie. Photos with Santa, crafts, games, treats. $10 admission, no charge for adults accompanying children.
  • Candy Cane Hunt, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Renaud Spirit Center, O’Fallon. Hunt for treats, games and songs, visit with Santa. Register at (636) 474-2732.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, 2750 Highway K, O’Fallon. Drop in for a friendly game of chess, no registration required.
  • Cocoa with a Cop, 10 a.m to 12 p.m., McDonald’s, 101 McDonald Drive, O’Fallon. Photos with Officer Claus, K9 officers, McDonald’s characters.
  • Bingo with Santa, 11 a.m., Progress Park Center, Wentzville. Bingo, lunch, photos with Santa. All ages welcome. $12 for residents, $15 nonresidents. Table for 10 is $110. Call (636) 332-9236.
  • Christmas Traditions, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Historic Main Street, St. Charles. Santa parade at 1:30 p.m. from 1000 South Main to Frontier Park. Jack Frost and Friends, 7 p.m. at Berthold Square. Candlelight procession to the gazebo, 8:45 p.m.
  • Wentzville Community Club Quilt Bingo, doors open at noon, play starts at 2 p.m.
  • Christmas Candlelight Tours, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Historic Daniel Boone Home at Lindenwood Park, 1868 Highway F, Defiance. Hot cider, carolers, holiday traditions of the 1800s. $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Register online.

Sunday, December 4

  • Wentzville Community Club Flea Market, 6 a.m., 500 West Main Street, Wentzville. 400 vendor spaces. No animals allowed.
  • Christmas Traditions, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Historic Main Street, St. Charles. Santa parade at 1:30 p.m. from 1000 South Main to Frontier Park. Caroling at the Gazebo at 4:30 p.m.
  • Wentzville Tree Lighting and Christmas parade, 5:30 p.m. Tree lighting at East Pearce and Luetkenhaus Boulevards. Parade starts at Budget Towing, ends at the Wentzville Firehouse for hot chocolate and cookies with Santa.
