Friday, April 7

  • Builders St. Charles Home Show, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., St. Charles Convention Center, St. Charles. Free admission.
  • Bingo, doors open 5 p.m., games start at 7 p.m., American Legion Post 323, Wentzville. Smoking and nonsmoking available, 50/50, attendance prizes, concessions available.
  • Public Stargazing, 7 p.m., Broemmelsiek Park. Weather permitting, telescopes available. Free, registration required for large groups.
  • Adult Easter Egg Hunt, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., O’Fallon Sports Park, 3589 Highway K, O’Fallon. $18 residents, $20 non-residents. DJ, adult beverages, food trucks, prizes. Register online.

Saturday, April 8

  • Easter EGGstravaganza, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Rotary Park, Wentzville. Please arrive early to allow time for parking. The gates open at 8:30 a.m. Ages 1-2, 7-8, 9-10 will hunt eggs at 9:30 a.m. and ages 3-4, 5-6 will hunt at 10:30 a.m. Registration in advance is $3 per child. The day of the event is $5 per child.   • Lake Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Market, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Meadows Shopping Center, Lake Saint Louis.
  • Friends of the Library Spring Fever Book Fair, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., VFW Post 5077, 8500 Veterans Memorial Parkway, O’Fallon. Free admission. Features adult mystery, fiction, sci fi, DVDs, CDs. No children’s books.
  • Saturday Morning Chess Club, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library, O’Fallon. Drop in for a game of chess. All skill levels welcome.
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m., Founders Park, 7 Freymuth Road, Lake Saint Louis. Bounce houses, pony rides, face painting, balloon artist, games, visit from the Easter Bunny, egg hunts. Bring a canned food donation. Free admission, tickets available at
  • Eggcellent Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Legacy Park, Cottleville. Photos with Easter Bunny, Bubble Bus, costumed characters, firefighters and policemen. Egg hunt starts at 11 a.m.
  • Egg hunts, 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., City Light Baptist Church, 3400 State Highway K, O’Fallon. Hunts followed by hot dog lunch, face painting, bounce house, visit from Easter Bunny. Up to 10 years old. Free, but registering enters grand prize drawing. Register online.
  • Frontier Hearth Cooking, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Historic Daniel Boone Home at Lindenwood Park, 1868 Highway F, Defiance. Learn hands-on frontier cooking techniques. Ages 12 and up. Registration required.
  • Teen/Tween Egg Hunt, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Boone’s Trail Branch Library. Register online.
  • Easter Egg Hunts and EGGstravaganza, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Youth Activity Park, Dardenne Prairie. Egg hunts start at 11 a.m., rain or shine, with three age categories. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., four hunts for children with sensory, mobility, and visual disabilities. Photos with Easter Bunny and egg-themed games.   • Easter dog bone hunt, 11:30 a.m., Rotary Park, Wentzville. Day of event registration $15 per dog. Dogs must be on a leash. Door prizes and free doggie bag to take home.
  • Bingo, doors open at 4 p.m., play starts at 6:30 p.m. Wentzville Community Club, Wentzville. Café and bar open.
  • Adult Easter Egg Hunt, 7 p.m. to 9 p .m., Boulevard Park, 2550 Lake Saint Louis Boulevard, Lake Saint Louis. Bring a flashlight. Prizes and cash eggs. Registration limited to 300. $10 per person, register and pay online.
