The United States Postal Service will hold a public meeting at Wednesday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting to present a plan for the relocation of its Wentzville facility.
According to USPS-provided documents, the current post office located at 201 East Allen Street no longer provides the necessary space. The USPS has determined that the facility needs a 9,195 square foot site to meet its requirements.
A new facility would include delivery service for the 25 Wentzville delivery routes, retail facilities, and post office box service, with sufficient parking for employees and patrons.
The public is invited to comment by mail to

The old post office location would not be closed until the new location is ready for business.
The Board of Aldermen meeting will start at 6 p.m. at city hall.
