A suspect that police say stole a truck from Marshall Ford in O’Fallon this morning has been apprehended in St. Ann.
According to an O’Fallon Police Department press release, the department received a call at 11:49 a.m. from Marshall Ford saying that a vehicle had been stolen during a test drive. The suspect ordered an employee of Marshall Ford out of the vehicle and was last seen heading east.
The employee was not injured, police said.
The St. Charles Missouri Scanner Traffic Facebook page identified the vehicle as a black Ford F150.
The description of the vehicle was relayed to area police, and the vehicle was stopped at Interstate 70 and Lindbergh in St. Louis County. St. Ann police took the suspect into custody.
An investigation is ongoing.
