Avoid the wait at the gate by purchasing admission wristbands in advance for the Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll on Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13. The walkthrough will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Fort Zumwalt Park, and the cost is $3 for ages 3 and up, and free for younger children.
Wristbands can be purchased through Friday, December 9, at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office located at 400 Civic Park Drive (across the street from Civic Park), Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information call 636-379-6514.
On these two special nights, millions of lights will be twinkling along a route lined with whimsical holiday scenes featuring favorite movie and storyland characters, inspiring nativities, and more. - Step into the historic Heald Home and shop for hand-crafted holiday gifts, decorations, winter wear, blankets, jewelry and baked goodies.
- Visit the St. Charles Model Railroad Club’s display of working model trains rolling past miniature city and country landscapes. www.stcharlesrailroadclub.org/
Pedestrians are welcome to bring strollers, wagons, walkers and wheelchairs, but no pets or dogs (except service dogs), motorized hoverboards, kids’ scooters, bikes or skateboards will be allowed.
