St. Louis man seriously injured in motorcycle crash on Route A in Wentzville

UPDATE: An official from the St. Charles County ambulance district has confirmed to 70 West Sentinel that the MSHP report is in error and that the victim was airlifted to Mercy Hospital.

A 26-year-old man from St. Louis sustained serious injuries Tuesday night in a crash on Route A in Wentzville.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Adrian J. Clark was northbound on Edinger Road at 10:25 p.m. on a Honda CBR 1000. Clark failed to stop at the stop sign at Route A and traveled into the path of a Ford Five Hundred driven by Garland L. Hill, 40, of Wentzville.

Clark’s motorcycle hit the Ford, which was eastbound on Route A, and Clark was ejected. He sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Hill was not injured. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
