St. Charles County Fair: Wednesday, July 26 – Senior Citizens Day

The second day of the St. Charles County Fair’s 2017 season starts early on Wednesday, July 26 at Wentzville’s Rotary Park, 2577 West Meyer Road. Wednesday’s events include 4-H livestock judging, a tractor pull, and music from the “Rough Ryders.”

Admission–which includes carnival rides, entertainment and parking–is $10 for adults and $5 for children six to 10 years old. Children five and under are free. Military with proper I.D. receive a 50 percent discount.

On this special Senior Citizens Day, admission for seniors aged 60 older is just $5.

8 a.m. – Gates open

10 a.m. – Kolb Exhibition Center open

11 a.m. – Poultry judging at Heinrich Pavilion

3 p.m. – Goat judging in the swine show ring

5 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Petting zoo

6 p.m.

  • Market heifer and market steer judging in the show barn
  • Market rabbit judging in Heinrich Pavilion

6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Free carnival rides with paid admission

  • The Eliminator Challenge

6:30 p.m. – Princess & Superhero on the Stars & Stripes Stage

7 p.m. – Illinois Tractor Pulling Association Tractor Pull

7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Marcos the Juggler on the Stars & Stripes Stage

8 p.m. – “Rough Ryders” in the Entertainment Tent

8 p.m. – Glory Days Rodeo

8:30 p.m. – Princess & Superhero on the Stars & Stripes Stage

8:30 p.m. – Market Lamb Judging in the show barn

11:30 p.m. – Grounds close
