St. Charles County Fair Final Day Schedule – Saturday, July 30

Saturday is the last day to enjoy the St. Charles County Fair’s 2016 season at Wentzville’s Rotary Park, 2577 West Meyer Road. Featured today are a 5k/10k run, a baby contest, frog and turtle races, and the demolition derby.

Admission–which includes carnival rides, entertainment and parking–is $20 for adults and $5 for children six to 10 years old. Children five and under are free. Military with proper I.D. receive a 50 percent discount.

7 a.m. – Pound the Pavement for Parks 5k/10k runs

8 a.m.

  • Fair grounds open
  • Garden tractor pull

9 a.m. – Baby contest in the entertainment tent

9:30 a.m. – Beef breeding judging in the show barn

10 a.m.

  • Kola Exhibition Center opens
  • Balloon artist in the entertainment tent
  • Caricaturist and face painting in the entertainment tent
  • Freestyle Moto-X

10:30 a.m. – Frog Race, Turtle Race, Nickel Scramble, and Sack Race

12 p.m.

  • Free carnival rides with paid admission
