Again this year, the 2016 Pound the Pavement for Parks 5k/10k will be held in conjunction with the St. Charles County Fair at Rotary Park. This year’s race is Saturday, July 30.
On-site registration begins at 6 a.m., and the race starts at 7 a.m. Registered runners will receive a dri-fit T-shirt and a ticket to attend the St. Charles County Fair on Saturday.
The top three finishers in each age group will receive medals.
The 5k run is 3.07 miles long, and the 10k run is 6.25 miles. Both are are mostly on flat roadways. Registration is $40.
The Pound the Pavement runs are sponsored by the Friends of the Wentzville Parks.
