Spring Fling at Holt offers egg hunts, activities, guest appearances

Holt Spring Fling 2018

The Holt High School DECA Chapter will be hosting the 19th Annual Spring Fling on March 30th at their school from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year’s theme is Disney and the event will include games, activities and the traditional egg hunts. There will also be themed raffle baskets and guest appearances by the Easter Bunny, McGruff the Crime Dog, members of the Wentzville Fire Department, and Disney Princesses.

Admission and the egg hunts are free. Game and activity tickets are available for purchase at 5 for $1. The egg hunts will be broken down into two age groups; Preschool through first grade beginning at 11:00 a.m., and 2nd – 5th grade beginning at 12:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the local scholarship fund for Holt DECA National Qualifiers to help with expenses at the International DECA competition. DECA is an international organization specifically designed to reinforce the occupational competencies of high school students who wish to pursue a career in marketing, entrepreneurship, or management.
