A tractor-trailer crash blocked the eastbound ramp from Highway Z to Interstate 70 for a short time early Thursday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 36-year-old Wyoming man was eastbound on Interstate 70 when it left the roadway around 4:40 a.m.
The semi struck a ditch and ended up across the ramp, where the cab struck an embankment.
The driver sustained minor injuries, as did a 37-year-old male passenger, also from Wyoming. Both were transported by ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital-Lake Saint Louis.
The truck was totaled.
The Wentzville Police Department reported that the ramp was reopened around 5:30 a.m.
