Halloween Window Decorating

If you hurry, there’s still time to register for Wentzville’s Halloween window decorating contest.

The contest, which is sponsored by the Wentzville Downtown Business Association and Wentzville Parks and Recreation, is open to all 4th and 5th grade students, but they must register by Monday, October 19. Students can work in teams of two, but prizes will be awarded to the team, not the individuals.

Registrations forms can be picked up and turned in at the Parks Department offices at Progress Park.

Participants must supply their own brushes, but paints are supplied for them (black, white, yellow, red, green, brown, purple, and orange), and can be picked up when window locations in downtown Wentzville are assigned. The artwork must be designed and the work must be completed by the student(s).

Windows should be painted on October 24 and 25. Judging will take place on October 26.

First-place, second-place, and third-place prizes (gift certificates) will be awarded.
