Registration Opens for O’Fallon’s Slide the City After Nearly 2-Month Delay

Slide the City
O'Fallon's Slide the City event will feature a giant water slide, food trucks, and entertainment.

Registration is now open for O’Fallon’s much-anticipated Slide the City event on July 25 and 26.

The event will close a portion of Mexico Road near Fort Zumwalt West High School in order to turn the roadway into a giant water slide. The slide will be the main attraction of a street festival that will include entertainment and food trucks.

The single slider wristband, which allows one slide, costs $15 for the next 20 days. After that, the fee will be $20 until July 18, when it goes up to $25. Cost at the event will be $30. The single slider fee comes with a drawstring bag, tattoo and mouthguard.

Wristbands are also available for three slides or unlimited slides. Check the Slide the City website for the event for pricing or to register and pay.

Participants are required to use an inflatable tube on the slide. Tubes will be available for purchase at an additional cost.

Registration was originally scheduled to open on March 20, but problems with the registration website caused a delay. Visitors to the page were asked to sign up for a waiting list.
