‘Pieces of the Heart’ Show Looking for Quilt Artists

Quilt for Raffle

The Crossroads Arts Council is looking for quilters to display their fabric art at the Pieces of the Heart quilt show, November 3-5 at the Wentzville Community Club.

The event, which is the CAC’s first fabric arts show, will run from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 5.

Visitors to the show will vote on their favorite quilts, with awards given in three divisions: adult, youth, and antique quilts.

Quilt for Raffle
This quilt, which is being raffled at the event, is titled “The Big EZ” and it was pieced by Milly Blumer and quilted by Terry Kanyuck.

Along with the quilt display, the event will feature raffles, demonstrations, an antique quilt turning, and local vendors. One booth will feature fabric remnants, books, and other sewing paraphernalia for sale.

Admission is $1.

To enter a quilt, visit the CAC website for an entry form. Exhibitor space is also available, and the application form is also on the website.
