‘Operation Helping Heroes’ provides funding for Wentzville Police outreach program

Wentzville Police outreach program

Country Financial local agents have shown their support for the Wentzville Police Department’s Community Outreach Program through the “Operation Helping Heroes” program.

Country Financial started this program in 2015 to support non-profit events and veteran programs. Recently, they expanded the program to include first responders.

In 2019, Country Financial has provided over $600,000 in donations to service members and first responders. With Country Financial’s generous donation of $4,500, the Wentzville Police Department is using the funds to expand the community outreach unit. The department purchased an enclosed trailer with an eye catching wrap to grab attention. This trailer is a mobile billboard for the Wentzville Police Department. It also provides a consolidated location for supplies used for outreach events such as Coffee with a Cop, National Night Out, Candy with a Cop, Popsicles with the Police, Cops – Cones & Conversation and many more.

Now, the community outreach officers can respond to even more events and connect with more people and businesses building relationships with the community, residents, and children.

The Wentzville Police Department was only able to make this project happen with the amazing support from three local businesses; Country Financial, Big Tex Trailer World of Wentzville and Redline Designs.

Thank you again to these local sponsors, the support is truly appreciated.
