The public is invited to an Open House on Tuesday, April 11, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to see designs for facilities in the new O’Day Park, and for the expanded Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center facility in Civic Park.
The Open House will be held in the Food Court at O’Fallon’s Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366.
Last August, 60% of O’Fallon voters said “yes” to improvements to these parks, and the Open House will offer a first look at the proposed project designs and a chance to talk to the design teams, who will be on hand to answer questions.
Civic Park’s Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center is to be enlarged and revamped with new features to accommodate more patrons and activities. O’Day Park is a 57-acre wooded tract being developed as a nature park with paths, natural areas, an adventure playground, meeting facilities, an amphitheater and more.
