O’Day Park in O’Fallon hosts its first Theatre in the Park on Thursday, July 18, featuring the musical stage play There’s an Alien in my Soup. Showtime is at 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the O’Day Park Amphitheater, and admission and parking are free.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, and light concessions will be available for purchase. O’Day Park is located at 1000 O’Day Park Drive in O’Fallon, 1 mile south of I-64 on Route DD.

Actor and singer Alan Ox stars in the one-man musical comedy, which shares stories of extraordinary encounters with UFOs told by the characters themselves. Ox describes the play as “Men In Black mixed with great music – not just for ‘believers’ so to speak, but friends, family and people who just love theater. It’s okay to leave the conspiracy theories at the door and just enjoy an entertaining look at the most inspiring and confounding questions about our planet and planets beyond.”

Details for Theatre in the Park as well as other O’Day Park events are posted online at For weather-related event updates, call 636-379-5614 or follow Visit O’Fallon on Facebook @visitofallon or Instagram @visitofallon1856.
