O’Fallon Police Blotter: Zippo Lighters, Tools, Statues Reported Stolen

The following reports for October 20 – 29, 2016 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.


Thursday, October 20

  • Medication was reported stolen at 4:56 a.m. in the 2900 block of Highway K.
  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue at 7:38 a.m.

Friday, October 21

  • Zippo lighters were reported stolen in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 7:04 a.m.
  • A stroller and purse were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Pinewood Place Drive at 1:24 p.m.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen  on Royallmist Court at 4:16 p.m. An arrest was made, and charges will be sought.
  • A vehicle grill was reported damaged at 6:43 p.m. in the 500 block of St. Joseph Avenue. A summons was issued.

Saturday, October 22

  • A robbery was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 1:22 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.

  • A three-hole cutter, two step bits, drill/impact set, multi tool, rotary tool, hammer drill, metal saw, and a grinder were reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle in the 700 block of Whispering Willow Drive at 7:28 a.m.
  • Meals were reported stolen in the 1100 block of Technology Drive at 11:52 a.m.
  • A vehicle window and steer lock housing cover were reported damaged in the 200 block of West Pitman at 12:21 p.m.
  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 700 block of Summersong Drive at 1:42 p.m.
  • A wristlet wallet was reported stolen in the 2100 block of Highway K at 5:47 p.m.

Sunday, October 23

Monday, October 24

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 9:05 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2300 block of Highway K at 1:49 p.m.
  • Two arrests were made in a domestic assault in the 600 block of Big Horn Drive at 2:31 p.m. No injuries were reported. Charges will be sought.
  • Medication was reported stolen from an unattended purse in the 1000 block of Technology Drive at 6:08 p.m.

Tuesday, October 25

  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 8:47 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2300 block of Highway K at 1:02 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of Highway K at 2:53 p.m.

Wednesday, October 26

  • Funds were reported stolen from a bank account at 10:41 a.m. in the 500 block of Mystic Cove.
  • An unauthorized transfer of funds was reported in the 2300 block of Longmont Drive at 3:23 p.m.
  • A door frame was reported damaged in the 900 block of Winged Foot Drive at 3:46 p.m. Nothing was reported stolen.
  • A burglary was reported in the 900 block of Ardsley Court at 2:53 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported scratched in the 3000 block of Highway K at 5:28 p.m.

Thursday, October 27

  • An 18-year-old from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing clothing and shoes in the 2100 block of Highway K at 12:47 a.m.
  • Two license plate tabs were reported stolen in the 2600 block of Winter Haven Drive at 1:18 p.m.

Friday, October 28

  • A pocket knife and a multi tool were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Schrader Farm Drive at 5:25 a.m.
  • A license plate was reported stolen in the 200 block of Roxbury Drive at 2:36 p.m.
  • A wallet was reported stolen in the 300 block of San Jose Drive at 4:34 p.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 8600 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway at 5:56 p.m.

Saturday, October 29

  • Two statues were reported stolen from a porch in the 600 block of St. Joseph Avenue at 9:58 a.m.
  • A field was reported damaged on Mexico Road at Knaust Road at 2:42 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 3:15 p.m.
  • A residential window was reported damaged in the 1900 block of Dona Jane Drive at 10:58 p.m.
