O’Fallon Police Blotter: Victim Fights Back, Armed Assailants Flee

Thursday, September 22

  • Stealing was reported in the 1600 block of Thurston Court at 12:37 p.m.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody for stealing a bottle of alcohol at 9:44 p.m. in the 1400 block of Mexico Loop Road.
  • A prepaid debit card was reported stolen in the 300 block of Wood Street at 10:12 p.m.

Friday, September 23

  • A burglary was reported in the 8000 block of Oakhaven Drive at 9:36 a.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked window, but no items were taken.
  • A debit card was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 9300 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 1:54 p.m.
  • A 28-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing shoes in the 2100 block of Highway K at 6:14 p.m.

Saturday, September 24

  • A 17-year-old male fro O’Fallon was arrested for stealing clothing in the 2100 block of Highway K at 12:37 p.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1700 block of O’Fallon Road at 5:43 p.m.
  •  A vehicle was reported scratched in the 1900 block of Prairie Point at 6:41 p.m.

Sunday, September 25

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 2:13 p.m.
  • Two tablets were reported stolen in the 1100 block of Technology Drive at 2:46 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle in the 200 block of Casalon Dive at 9:11 p.m.

Monday, September 26

  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Obrecht Lane at 8:56 a.m.
  • Baby formula was reported stolen on Progress Point Parkway at 10:03 a.m.
  • Six game controllers were reported stolen in the 2300 block of Highway k at 3:10 p.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 4:13 p.m.
  • Cash was reported stolen in the 600 block of South Main Street at 5:15 p.m.

Tuesday, September 27

  • Stealing was reported in the 200 block of Irish Hound Drive at 12:21 p.m.
  • Two handguns were reported stolen in the 800 block of Whispering Rock Drive at 12:38 p.m.
  • A wallet and medication were reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle on Frost Court at 6:16 p.m.
  • A victim reported being approached by armed suspects in the 200 block of Fort Zumwalt Square at 8:49 p.m. No property was taken and the victim fought with the suspects, who fled. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. An investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, September 28

  • A debit card and cash were reported stolen in the 1100 block of North Main Street at 1:48 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of Highway K at 6:11 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 500 block of Country Chase Drive at 6:26 p.m. No damage was done to gain entry. Jewelry, cash, and headphones were reported stolen.
