O’Fallon Police Blotter: Stolen Baby Bottles, Diapers, Wipes

The following reports for August 16 – 22, 2017 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Wednesday, August 16

  • Copper wire and climbing equipment were reported stolen in the 1800 block of of West Terra Lane at 8:42 a.m.

Thursday, August 17

  • Checks were reported stolen in the 2900 block of Highway K at 10:06 a.m.
  • A 32-year-old from St. Peters was arrested for stealing a charger in the 2300 block of Highway K at 11:07 a.m.
  • A hair cut and hair products were reported stolen in the 2100 block of Highway K at 3:19 p.m.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody after a report of an assault in the 8900 block of Mexico Road at 4:03 p.m.
  • An assault was reported in the 100 block of Point Boulevard at 5:56 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. A summons was issued.
  • A handgun and change were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Parkgate Drive at 7:59 p.m.

Friday, August 18

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 300 block of San Jose Drive at 7:01 a.m. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • Cologne, change moisture detector, and glasses were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Royallmanor Lane at 8:20 a.m.
  • Diapers, baby bottles, and baby wipes were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:45 p.m. A 23-year-old from St. Louis was arrested.
  • A 23-year-old from St. Peters was arrested for stealing a cell phone case at 7:25 p.m. in the 2300 block of Highway K.

Saturday, August 19

  • An attempted stealing from a motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Durango Drive at 4:34 a.m.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8600 block of Mexico Road at 9:41 a.m.
  • A safe box and change were reported stolen in the 200 block of South Main Street at 9:51 a.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Grand Drive at 11:11 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged on Rambling Oak Drive at 8:07 p.m. No prosecution was desired.
  • A burglary was reported in the 600 block of Logan Valley Drive at 11:15 p.m. A door was damaged to gain entry, and two safes were stolen.

Sunday, August 20

  • Property damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Crestwood Lane at 9:34 a.m.
  • A vehicle door was reported scratched on Megans Court at 10:09 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged with paint in the 1300 block of Avondale Spring Drive at 6:40 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 4200 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 6:47 p.m. No damage was done to gain entry, but a couch was damaged.

Monday, August 21

  • A victim reported a lost wallet at 8:04 a.m. in the 1300 block of Highway K. A credit card was stolen and attempted to be used.
  • Grass was reported damaged in the 400 block of Westridge Drive at 9:33 a.m.
  • Two license plate tabs were reported stolen on Queensboro Drive at 3:17 p.m.
  • A golf club was reported stolen in the 3400 block of Highway K at 4:56 p.m.

Tuesday, August 22

  • A tablet and clothing were reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 8:22 a.m.
  • Two long guns, a television, and two grinders were reported stolen on Bryan Valley Court at 5 p.m. An arrest was made and charges will be filed.
  • A gift card was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Mexico Road at 8:36 p.m.
