O’Fallon Police Blotter: O’Fallon Man Charged with Domestic Assault, Prior Offender

The following reports for December 8 – 21, 2016 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, December 8

  • A juvenile was taken into custody for stealing makeup, toiletries, earbuds, a key ring, and room freshener at 2:25 p.m. in the 1300 block of Highway K.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of Highway K at 3:08 p.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 3:59 p.m.
  • Tool sets were reported stolen in the 8000 block of Oakway Drive at 5:03 p.m.
  • A 36-year-old female from St. Charles County was arrested for stealing gloves, a thermos, and a tablet at 5:17 p.m. in the 2300 block of Highway K.
  • Two cell phones and a bank card that were left unattended in the 9900 block of Winghaven Boulevard were reported stolen at 8:34 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1200 block of Begonia Drive at 7:58 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door, but no items were taken.

Friday, December 9

  • Two tire center caps were reported stolen in the 8200 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 11:52 p.m.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 700 block of Wilbie Court at 1:37 p.m. Brianna Young, 19, of St. Peters, was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, theft/stealing of less than $500, and unlawful use of drug parapheralia. Bond was set at $20,000.

Saturday, December 10

  • A vehicle window was reported broken in the 1100 block of Hidden Creek Court at 10:03 a.m.
  • Cash and medication were reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle on Amber Wave Court at 12:21 p.m.

Sunday, December 11

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 900 block of Amethyst Drive at 12:16 p.m. Both parties were arrested. One suspect was transported for non-life-threatening injuries.

Monday, December 12

  • A package containing a desk top calendar and planner was reported stolen in the 400 block of Spring Trace at 5:55 p.m.
  • A vehicle door was reported scratched in the 1200 block of The Crossings Drive at 8:16 p.m.
  • A bottle of alcohol was reported stolen in the 600 block of North Main Street at 8:38 p.m.

Tuesday, December 13

  • A tablet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of Presidents Landing Drive was recovered in the woods at 6:47 a.m.

Wednesday, December 14

  • A juvenile was taken into custody after a cell phone was stolen from an unlocked locker in the 100 block of Waterford Crossing Drive at 8:56 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of Highway K at 6:29 p.m.

Thursday, December 15

  • Earbuds were reported stolen from an unattended backpack in the 1200 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue at 8:14 a.m.
  • Gloves were reported stolen in the 2100 block of Highway K at 3:01 p.m.

Friday, December 16

  • A burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Highway K at 3:59 a.m. A door was damaged to gain entry but no items were taken.
  • A 17-year-old female from Oakville was arrested, and a juvenile was taken into custody for shoplifting in the 1300 block of Highway K at 4:25 p.m.
  • A street light was reported damaged in the 100 block of Butternut Stage Court at 10:05 p.m.

Saturday, December 17

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 300 block of South Main Street at 12:54 p.m.

Sunday, December 18

  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2300 block of Highway K at 12:55 p.m. and again at 3:55 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 3200 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 9:13 p.m. Jacob Clark, 22, of O’Fallon, was charged with second degree domestic assault, prior offender. Bond was set at $5,000.

Monday, December 19

  • An 18-year-old male was arrested for stealing clothing toiletries, and food at 12:09 p.m. in the 1300 block of Highway K.

Tuesday, December 20

  • A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1500 block of Savannah Circle at 7:10 a.m. The vehicle was recovered locally.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 4500 block of Highway K at 2:07 p.m.
  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Home Town Loop at 2:33 p.m.
  • A firearm was reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle in the 6300 block of Starbuck Drive at 3:39 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked, running vehicle in the 1500 bloc of Tea Party Lane at 5:44 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 200 block of Fawn Meadow Court at 10:16 p.m. The victim was transported for non-life-threatening injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be sought.

Wednesday, December 21

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 12:36 p.m.
  • A safe, jewelry, and medication were reported stolen in the 7900 block of Holly Oak Court at 3:48 p.m.
  • A handgun was reported stolen from a building in the 800 block of Pepper Lane at 10:06 p.m.
