O’Fallon Police Blotter: Domestic Assault Charges, Multiple Gas Drive-Offs and License Plates Stolen

The following reports for March 23 – 29, 2017 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, March 23

  • A vehicle window was reported damaged and a laptop and clothing were reported stolen in the 100 block of Comfort Inn Court at 9:03 a.m.
  • Cash was reported stolen from a building in the 1700 block of O’Fallon Road at 10:18 a.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported at 11:08 a.m. in the 200 block of Amber Crest Drive. No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be pursued.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 1:07 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported at 5:27 p.m. in the 800 block of Aston Way Drive. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be sought.

Friday, March 24

  • A burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Snowbird Lane at 9:57 a.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door, and cash was reported stolen.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of Glengate Estates Drive at 11:16 a.m. The vehicle was recovered.
  • Two license plates were reported stolen in the 1500 block of Tea Party Lane at 3 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported at 4:36 p.m. in the 600 block of Savannah Garden Drive. no one was transported for injuries. Investigation remains active.

Saturday, March 25

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 600 block of North Main Street at 10:01 a.m.
  • A  Bluetooth device was reported shoplifted in the 2200 block of Highway K at 2:33 p.m. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1700 block of O’Fallon Road at 6:34 p.m.

Sunday, March 26

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 1000 block of Golden Orchard Drive at 2:26 a.m. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • A vehicle theft was reported in the 2100 block of Martin Drive at 5:49 a.m.
  • A vehicle window was reported broken and a wallet stolen in the 8500 block of Veterans Memorial Drive at 1:54 p.m.

Monday, March 27

  • Cash was reported stolen from an unattended backpack in a locker room in the 1200 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue at 10:01 a.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 10:34 a.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1000 block of Turtle Creek Drive at 1:59 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of Chambers Drive at 3:46 p.m. A laptop and jewelry were taken.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 800 block of Aston Way Drive at 3:18 p.m. No one was transported for injuries.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 8:33 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 2100 block of Lee Ridge Drive at 11:22 p.m. Bakhtiyor Choriyev, 38, of O’Fallon, was charged by the Prosecuting Attorney’s office with third degree domestic assault. Bond was set at $10,000.

Tuesday, March 28

  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1400 block of Mexico Loop Road East at 2:29 a.m.
  • Domestic assault was reported in the 1100 block of Pinewood Place Drive at 3:40 a.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 500 block of Deer Brook Drive at 2:24 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 2:38 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Chestnut Hill Drive at 4:37 p.m.
  • A 37-year-old female from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing banks, a charger, and a lightning cable in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:41 p.m.

Wednesday, March 29

  • A license plate was reported stolen in the 800 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue at 12:17 p.m.
  • A 30-year-old female from St. Charles was arrested for stealing clothing, jewelry, and household items at 5:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of Highway K.
  • Two vehicle windows were reported damaged in the 600 block of Whispering Willow Drive at 9:41 p.m.
