O’Fallon Police Blotter: Decorative Lighting, Fishing Lures, Toys and Games Stolen

The following reports for December 3 – 16 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, December 3

  • A gaming system was reported stolen in the 600 block of Midland Drive at 11:31 a.m.
  • A laptop and purse were reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle in the 3000 block of Highway K at 2:22 p.m.
  • Video games were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 3:33 p.m. A juvenile was taken into custody.

Friday, December 4

  • Gaming cards were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 11:26 a.m. An arrest was made but no charges have been issued.

Saturday, December 5

  • Cash was reported stolen in the 4200 block of Keaton Crossing Boulevard at 1:55 a.m.

Sunday, December 6

  • Decorative lighting was reported stolen from a back yard in the 2200 block of Bates Road at 6:57 a.m.
  • A wallet left behind in the 900 block of Caledonia was reported stolen at 5:02 p.m.

Monday, December 7

  • Cash was reported stolen from a wallet in an unlocked vehicle in an open garage in the 200 block of Brougham Drive at 9:24 p.m.

Tuesday, December 8

  • A shotgun was reported stolen from a garage in the 3100 block of Brook Hollow Drive at 6:29 a.m. The garage door was left open only about a foot.
  • A vehicle was reported scratched in the 2100 block of Highway K at 8:22 a.m.
  • A 2:01 p.m., a victim in the 1400 block of Quiver Drive reported sending money via gift cards to make an online purchase and never receiving the property.

Wednesday, December 9

  • A window was reported damaged on Sanders Drive at 6:43 a.m.
  • Three bottles of liquor were reported stolen in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 1:15 p.m.
  • At 2:52 p.m., a victim on Belleau Creek Road reported sending money via gift cards to make on online purchase and never receiving the property.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1700 block of O’Fallon Road at 4:16 p.m.

Thursday, December 10

  • A burglary was reported in the 8000 block of Oakhaven Drive at 9:14 a.m. A door was damaged to gain entry into a maintenance garage, but nothing was stolen.
  • A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Falcon Hill Trail at 3:07 p.m. Entry was made through an open garage door into an unlocked vehicle, ad a bag containing a handgun and ammunition were taken.
  • A projection light was reported stolen from a yard in the 200 block of Springbeach Drive at 3:55 p.m.

Friday, December 11

  • Four tires were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of St. Joseph Avenue at 9:07 a.m.
  • Lighting items that had been stolen were returned for gift cards in the 8500 block of Mexico Road at 10:19 a.m.
  • Cab fare was reported stolen on Jacobs Lane at 11:07 a.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Street at 2:17 p.m. Entry was made through an unlocked window, and no items were taken.
  • A 35-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing a phone charger in the 1300 block of Highway K at 2:49 p.m.
  • A memory card, headphones, and pens were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 3:10 p.m.
  • A 43-year-old female from O’Fallon and a 51-year-old male from O’Fallon were arrested for settling an air mattress in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:43 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 300 block of J-Mark Court at 11:50 p.m. A door was damaged, but no entry was gained and nothing was taken.

Saturday, December 12

  • Yard decorations were reported damaged in the 100 block of Wabash Spur Drive at 7:35 a.m.
  • A wall and playground equipment were reported damaged in the 7500 block of Highway N at 11:43 a.m.

Sunday, December 13

  • A mailbox was reported damaged in the 200 block of Centerfield Drive at 6:01 a.m.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from a purse in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:36 p.m.
  • A lock on a shed was reported damaged in the 500 block of St. Joseph Avenue at 8:41 p.m.

Monday, December 14

  • A 26-year-old male from Moscow Mills was arrested for stealing toys and games in the 1300 block of Highway K at 12:37 p.m.

Tuesday, December 15

  • A 21-year-old male from Elsberry was arrested for stealing a charging cable in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:16 p.m.

Wednesday, December 16

  • A cell phone and case were reported stolen on Commerce Drive at 9:08 a.m.
  • A 19-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing fishing lures in the 1300 block of Highway K at 12:17 p.m.
  • Cash was reported stolen in the 2300 block of Highway K at 2:01 p.m.
  • A gaming controller and clothing was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 3:37 p.m.
