O’Fallon Police Blotter: Damaged Playground, Stolen Easter Basket

The following reports for March 26 – April 8 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, March 26

  • Domestic assault, second degree, was reported in the 2300 block of Oakbrook Drive at 11:24 a.m. An arrest was made but no charges were issued.
  • A purse and a GPS were reported stolen from an unlocked motor vehicle on Red Brook Court at 12 p.m.
  • A license plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of Maryland Drive at 1:22 p.m.
  • Drywall was reported damaged in the 1400 block of Washington’s Crossing Drive at 6:06 p.m.

Friday, March 27

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 7:48 a.m.
  • A gift card, shoes and cash left unattended were reported stolen in the 1200 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue at 9:15 a.m.
  • Property damage was reported in the 3100 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 2:09 p.m. A vehicle was scratched.
  • A laptop computer and a security system were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 5:37 p.m.

Saturday, March 28

  • A cell phone left on a counter was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Highway K at 1:02 p.m.
  • An unattended cell phone was reported stolen in the 2300 block of Hidden Deer Drive at 2:35 p.m.
  • Property damage was reported in the 7000 block of Black Horse Drive at 10:13. Two vehicles reported chipped paint.

Sunday, March 29

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 2000 block of Highway K at 8:30 p.m.
  • Alcohol was reported stolen in the 600 block of North Main Street at 10:41 p.m.

Monday, March 30

  • Medicine, change and cologne were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Comfort Inn Court at 9:30 a.m.
  • 12-volt batteries were reported stolen in the 400 block of Long Gate Court at 9:32 a.m.
  • At 1:17 p.m., a delayed report of domestic assault was taken in the 600 block of Big Timber Lane. An arrest was made.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody at 2:06 p.m. in the 1300 block of Highway k for stealing cosmetics and food.
  • Metal was reported stolen from a trash bin in the 300 block of San Jose Drive at 6:37 p.m.

Tuesday, March 31

  • An unattended wallet was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Tom Ginnever Avenue at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday, April 1

  • Second-degree property damage was reported in the 8000 block of Oakway Drive at 12:18 a.m. A mirror was reported damaged.
  • First-degree property damage was reported in the 1100 block of St. Matthew Avenue at 10:22 a.m. A vehicle was scratched.
  • Property damage was reported on Mexico Road at Highway K at 2:57 p.m. A vehicle was damaged. An arrest was made, but no charges issued.

Thursday, April 2

  • Property damage was reported on Barrington Drive at 6:45 a.m. vehicle windows were damaged.
  • A cell phone was reported damaged in the 800 block of Molloy Drive at 3:26 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 4:02 p.m. A suspect stole items and then returned them for case and credit.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1800 block of Homefield Valley Court at 4:54 p.m. A subject purchased tickets on line and never received them.
  • Property damage was reported in the 800 block of Bryan Road at 10:26 p.m. A hose and prop head on a gas tank were damaged.

Friday, April 3

  • A license plate tab was reported stolen on South Boxwood Lane at 4:57 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported on Brushy Brook Court at 5:40 p.m. Electronics, cash and long guns were stolen, but no force was used to gain entry.
  • Stealing was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Quarterhorse Trail. An X-Box was stolen.
  • Two mailboxes were reported damaged in the 200 block of Alexandria Drive at 11:58 p.m.

Saturday, April 4

  • A vehicle was reported damaged in the 7700 block of Boardwalk Towers Circle at 9:29 a.m.
  • A mailbox post was reported damaged in the 800 block of Molloy Drive at 11:17 a.m.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen in the 800 block of Larkspur Lane at 4:12 p.m.

Sunday, April 5

  • A burglary was reported on Larchmont Court at 12:04 p.m. Guitars were reported stolen, but no force was used to gain entry.
  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Casalon Drive at 5:59 p.m. A gaming system and accessories were stolen. No force was used to gain entry.

Monday, April 6

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 600 block of Main Street at 7:40 a.m.
  • Oil, a tool set, and an Easter basket were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 11:30 a.m.

Wednesday, April 8

  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 700 block of Highway K at 3:12 p.m.
  • A playground was reported damaged in the 1300 block of Sportsman Drive at 4:33 p.m.
