O’Fallon Police Blotter: Cash Left Under Doormat Reported Stolen

The following reports for April 6 – 12, 2017 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, April 6

  • A 35-year-old female from St. Peters was arrested for stealing office supplies, candy, a toy, and lawn seed in the 1300 block of Highway K at 12:04 p.m.
  • Stealing was reported on Abington Court at 12:35 p.m.
  • A 17-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing clothing and candy in the 1300 block of Highway K at 4:58 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 400 block of Dardenne Drive at 7:37 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 200 block of Wabash Woods Way at 9:02 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • A burglary was reported on Chip Drive at 11:58 p.m. Entry was gained through an open garage door and hand tools and a drywall jack were taken.

Friday, April 7

  • Stealing was reported on Fort Zumwalt Drive at 1:19 p.m. A wallet, camera, cash, crystals, and rocks were taken.
  • A handgun was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Tyndale Drive at 4:46 p.m. Cash was taken from a second unlocked vehicle.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 6:59 p.m. A television, three DVD players, a vacuum, and seven bottles of alcohol were taken.

Saturday, April 8

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 400 block of Mar-Ton Estates Drive No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be pursued.
  • A scam was reported in the 500 block of Wycombe Drive at 10:27 p.m. A victim reported sending money through an ATM card to a company that claimed to fix security issues on a computer.
  • A vehicle was reported scratched in the 6300 block of Apple Rock Drive at 2:05 p.m.
  • A vehicle windshield was reported damaged on Amber Meadows Drive at 8:43 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of Highway K at 8:44 p.m.
  • A window was reported damaged and a GPS stolen in the 2100 block of West Terra Lane at 11:42 p.m.

Sunday, April 9

  • A burglary was reported in the 600 block of Falling Brook Drive at 11:13 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door, and a laptop and a computer were taken.
  • A trailer was reported stolen in the 900 block of Lone Star Drive at 7:20 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Summersweet Drive at 8:27 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door and a gaming system was stolen.

Monday, April 10

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 500 block of Autumn Gate Court. No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be referred to the Juvenile Court.
  • Stealing was reported in the 600 block of Westridge Drive at 10 a.m.
  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Technology Drive at 11:14 a.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 4:41 p.m.
  • An attempted burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Buffalo Rock Drive at 4:17 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported on Lil Marie Parkway at 6:32 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. Donald Jones, 26, of O’Fallon was charged with third degree assault and stealing. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Cash that was left under an outside floor mat was reported stolen on Megans Court at 9:15 p.m.

Tuesday, April 11

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 1300 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive. No one was transported for injuries. Joseph Reavey, 35, of O’Fallon, was charged with peace disturbance. Bond was set at $5,000.

Wednesday, April 12

  • Shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of South Main Street at 2:27 p.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 3:44 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 8000 block of Oakmont Court at 8:25 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. A juvenile was taken into custody and charges will be referred to the Juvenile Court.
