O’Fallon Police Blotter: Branson Man Arrested for Thefts on Main Street and Elm Street

The following reports for June 27 – July 6, 2016 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Monday, June 27

  • Medication was reported solon in the 400 block of Covered Bridge Lane at 1:05 a.m.
  • License plates were reported stolen on Bluefield Court at 11:36 a.m.
  • A cell phone, key chain pocket screwdriver, and coins were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Thoroughbred Trail at 2:50 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged with a dent in the 1000 block of St. Paul Lane at 5:14 p.m.

Tuesday, June 28

  • A wallet was reported stolen from an unsecured vehicle in the 1300 block of Mexico Loop Road East at 2:28 p.m. The windows of the vehicle were cracked, and the wallet was on the seat.
  • Five packages of flea and tick product were reported stolen in the 2200 block of Highwy K at 9:01 p.m.

Wednesday, June 29

  • Property damage was reported in the 1300 block of Warrior Song Way at 8:10 a.m.
  • Stealing from a building was reported in the 4600 block of Highway K a 4:12 p.m.

Thursday, June 30

  • Cash was reported stolen in the 7000 block of the 364 South Outer Road at 1:59 p.m.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 100 block of Mystic Cove at 5:25 p.m.

Friday, July 1

  • Stealing from a vehicle was reported on Elaine Drive at 8:06 a.m. The vehicle’s doors were damaged and a window was broken, and a hand-held snow blower, cordless drill, and miscellaneous tool were stolen.
  • Cash was reported stolen from a purse in an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of North Main Street at 9:51 a.m.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Elm Street at 12:03 a.m. A 23-year-old man from Branson, Jordan Medley, was arrested and charged with two counts of stealing.
  • A chainsaw was reported stolen in the 200 block of Main Street at 9:33 a.m. The subject from the previous report was also charged in this theft.

Saturday, July 2

  • Two packages of alcohol and beach towels were reported stolen in the 8600 block of Veterans Memorial Drive at 12:15 a.m.
  • A trailer was reported solon in the 8500 block of Mexico Road at 2:26 p.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 7400 block of Highway N at 6:03 p.m.

Sunday, July 3

  • A domestic assault was reported in the 7100 block of the South Outer Road at 12:58 a.m. No injuries required transportation. Kenneth Novak was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault.
  •  Medication, cash, and jewelry were reported stolen in the 2000 block of Collier Boulevard at 1:24 a.m. Entry was made through an open window.
  • Alcohol was reported stolen in the 600 block of North Main Street at 1:32 a.m.
  • A gas drive-off was reported in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 2:01 p.m.

Monday, July 4

  • A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Avondale Spring Drive at 11:14 a.m. Two golf range finders, a car polisher, and two tool organizers were taken from a garage.

Tuesday, July 5

  • A 19-year-old male from O’Fallon was issued a summons for stealing food in the 2000 block of Highway K at 1:30 a.m.
  • A vehicle windshield was reported damaged in the 100 block of Weatherby Landing Drive at 7:28 a.m.
  • Three tablets were reported stolen in the 100 block of Comfort Inn Court at 9:37 a.m.
  • A report was taken in the 500 block of Willow Valley Drive at 3:53 p.m. of payment made for services but the work not done.

Wednesday, July 6

  • Aluminum and steel scrap were reported stolen in the 1300 block of West Terra Lane at 2:15 p.m.
  • Two license plates were reported stolen in the 600 block of North Main Street at 7:46 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported scuffed in the 9400 block of Mexico Road at 10:10 p.m.
