O’Fallon Police Blotter: Bobcat, Bed Sheets, Jamboxes Stolen

The following reports for March 10 – 16 were supplied to 70 West Sentinel by the O’Fallon Police Department. A report of an arrest or charges filed is not an assumption of guilt, nor does it indicate that anyone was convicted of any crime.

Thursday, March 10

  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 8:44 a.m. Items stolen, including electronics, clothing, and food, were returned in exchange for a gift card. An arrest has been made and charges are being sought. This case is currently under investigation.
  • Theft was reported in the 2300 block of Highway K at 2:15 p.m. Video games and gaming systems were among the items reported stolen. An arrest has been made and charges are being sought.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1900 block of Briarfield Drive at 4:32 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.
  • A license plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of Gladiola Court at 6:18 p.m.
  • An assault was reported in the 300 block of J-Mark court at 8:22 p.m. Both subjects were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. An arrest has been made and charges are being sought. This case is currently under investigation.

Friday, March 11

  • Burglary was reported in the 100 block of S. Wellington Street at 1:16 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. A debit card was reported stolen. This case is currently under investigation.
  • Property damage to exterior doors was reported in the 400 block of Orf Avenue at 4:42 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.

Saturday, March 12

  • No reports.

Sunday, March 13

  • Property damage to a vehicle fender was reported in the 500 block of Willow Valley Drive at 6:54 p.m.
  • Property damage to a vehicle tire was reported in the 700 block of Diamond Pointe Court at 7:14 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.

Monday, March 14

  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 700 block of Hyde Drive at 2:17 a.m. The vehicle was later recovered and a juvenile was taken into custody.
  • A motor vehicle – a Bobcat – was reported stolen in the 400 block of Gatehouse Circle at 7:47 a.m.  This case is currently under investigation.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 10:35 a.m. Clothing and a nursing set were among the items reported stolen. This case is currently under investigation.
  • Theft was reported in the 2000 block of Highway K at 12:19 p.m. A MoneyGram that had been left on a counter was stolen.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 1:42 p.m. Stolen bed sheets were returned in exchange for a gift card.
  • License plate tabs were reported stolen in the 700 block of Avondale Drive at 4:24 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.
  • Two jamboxes were reported shoplifted in the 2100 block of Highway K at 5:15 p.m.
  • A 24-year-old male, a 28-year-old female and a 29-year-old female were arrested in the 1300 block of Highway K at 5:37 for shoplifting. Mops and bed sheets were among the items reported stolen.

Tuesday, March 15

  • Property damage to a window was reported in the 2600 block of Highway K at 10:23 a.m.
  • A 24-year old male was arrested in the 1300 block of Highway K at 12:23 p.m. for shoplifting.  A stroller and sanitary item were among the items reported stolen.
  • Medication was reported stolen in the 7000 block of S. Outer Road 364 at 12:28 p.m. Charges are being sought. This case is currently under investigation.
  • Three boxes of glucose testing strips were reported stolen in the 2100 block of W. Terra Lane at 12:54 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.
  • An incomplete report of theft in the 100 block of O’Fallon Plaza was filed at 4:47 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.

Wednesday, March 16

  • An 18-year-old male was arrested and a juvenile taken into custody in the 2300 block of Highway K at 1:19 for shoplifting clothing and candy.
  • Theft was reported in the 900 block of Winged Foot Court at 5:29 p.m. A microphone that had been delivered to a residence had been stolen.
