O’Fallon Police Blotter: Arrest for Stealing from a Tip Jar

Thursday, June 8

  • A vehicle window was reported broken and a purse stolen in the 2700 block of Highway K at 8:13 a.m.
  • Two 20-year-old females from St. Louis were arrested for stealing sunglasses, clothing, and a toiletry item in the 1300 block of Highway K at 1:49 p.m.
  • Shoes were reported shoplifted in the 2100 block of Highway K at 3:59 p.m. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.
  • A lawn was reported damaged in the 1200 block of Begonia Drive at 8:51 p.m.

Friday, June 9

  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 6000 block of Fox Oak Court at 6 a.m. The vehicle was recovered.
  • Two license plates were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 8:54 a.m.
  • A handgun was reported stolen from an undamaged vehicle on Betsy’s Flag Court at 9:38 a.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 1100 block of Prairie Point at 1:44 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be sought.
  • A 64-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing food and a toiletry item in the 2900 block of Highway K at 2:50 p.m.
  • A vehicle window was reported damaged in the 400 block of Prince David at 6:06 p.m.
  • Three vehicles were reported damaged in the 2300 block of Wild Oak Drive at 5:19 p.m.
  • Hand tools were reported stolen in the 1200 block of Briarchase Drive at 9:07 p.m.
  • An assault was reported in the 300 block of Estate Drive at 11:48 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. No prosecution will be sought.

Saturday, June 10

  • A check was reported stolen in the 3300 block of Meadow Pointe Drive at 12:47 p.m.
  • A vehicle window was reported damaged in the 300 block of Winding Woods Drive at 8:29 p.m.
  • Two vehicles were reported with window damage in the 100 block of Stage Coach Landing Drive at 9:09 p.m.
  • An unattended cell phone was reported stolen in the 2900 block of Highway K at 9:26 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 1900 block of Winter Hill Drive at 9:55 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. An arrest was made and charges will be pursued.

Sunday, June 11

  • A battery was reported stolen from a vehicle on Laura Drive at 2:22 p.m.
  • Cash and medicine was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Oakfield Drive at 6:46 p.m.

Monday, June 12

  • Two license plates were reported stolen in the 200 block of North Main Street at 12:32 p.m.
  • A 20-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing money from a tip jar in the 2500 block of Highway K at 2:13 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 700 block of LeClar Drive at 8:57 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be pursued.

Tuesday, June 13

  • Property damage was reported in the 1600 block of East Terra Lane at 7:45 a.m.
  • A burglary was reported on Lil Marie Parkway at 7:53 a.m. No damage was reported to gain entry. Cash was stolen.
  • An iPad was reported stolen from a residence in the 8200 block of Bristol Valley Drive at 10:36 a.m.
  • A door frame was reported damaged in the 2000 block of Dona Jane Drive at 6:25 p.m.

Wednesday, June 14

  • An assault was reported on Northwalk at 12:22 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of Highway K at 12:49 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged on Oak Leaf Drive at 7:59 p.m.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen in the 100 block of Dusty Rose Drive at 8:49 p.m.

Thursday, June 15

  • A cooktop and two air conditioners were reported stolen from a construction site in the 200 block of Thorn Brook Drive at 6:06 a.m.
  • A 48-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing six bottles of alcohol in the 100 block of McDonald Lane at 7:04 a.m.
  • A delayed report of an assault in the 3100 block of Post Run Drive was taken at 11:29 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported in the 2200 block of Highway K was reported at 3:58 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Glengate Estates Drive at 4:06 p.m. A window was damaged to gain entry. Two juveniles were taken into custody.
  • A scooter was reported stolen in the 400 block of Carol Renee Court at 5:55 p.m.
  • Two juveniles were taken into custody for stealing clothing in the 2300 block of Highway K at 5:40 p.m.
  • A 25-year-old female from St. Peters was arrested for stealing food items and a master lock at 8:17 p.m. in the 1300 block of Highway K.

Friday, June 16

  • A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Pinehurst Club Court at 1:54 a.m. Four juveniles were taken into custody.
  • Subflooring and house wrap were reported stolen from a construction site in the 300 block of Haycastle Drive at 6:39 a.m.
  • Four wheels and tires were reported stolen in the 800 block of Nicola Lane at 8:32 a.m.
  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen in the 700 block of Bramblett Valley at 10:14 a.m.
  • Damaged chairs were reported thrown into the pool in the 1100 block of Bellow Falls Drive at 11:38 a.m.
  • A tire was reported damaged in the 2100 block of Lee Ridge Drive at 12:44 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported at 2:03 p.m. in the 100 block of South Wellington. No one was transported for injuries, and a juvenile was taken into custody.
  •  A burglary was reported in the 5100 block of O’Fallon Lakes Drive at 5:33 p.m.
  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of Sword Lily Drive at 6:15 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. Charges will be pursued with O’Fallon Municipal Court.
  • A bank card was reported stolen in the 8300 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway at 8:53 p.m.

Saturday, June 17

  • A 45-year-old male from O’Fallon was issued a summons for stealing a golf bag in the 1300 block of North Main Street at 8:56 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged in the 500 block of Timber Creek Trail at 2:50 p.m.
  • A burglary was reported in the 900 block of Prynnwood Lane at 9:11 p.m. Brittany Wheeler, 22, of Marthasville, was arrested and charged with burglary, armed criminal action, property damage, and domestic assault. Bond was set at $50,000.

Sunday, June 18

  • A scooter was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Highway K at 2:04 p.m.

Monday, June 19

  • Patio furniture and an umbrella, potted plants, and a child’s swing were reported damaged in the 2000 block of Alexandria Row at 7:28 a.m.
  • Property damage was reported on Commerce Drive at 11:17 a.m.
  • A 26-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing a mirror, bike lock, power bank, sharpener, bandana, and headphones in the 1300 block of Highway K at 1:25 p.m.
  • A vehicle mirror was reported damaged on Deer Creek Drive at 3:41 p.m.

Tuesday, June 20

  • Stealing was reported in the 600 block of Homerun Drive at 3:50 p.m.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 1000 block of Pinewood Place Drive at 7:29 p.m. No one was transported for injuries. No prosecution will be sought.

Wednesday, June 21

  • Two license plates were reported stolen in the 1200 block of Highway K at 10:27 a.m.
  • Domestic assault was reported in the 200 block of Wyndharbor Court at 1:19 p.m.
  • A 41-year-old male from O’Fallon was arrested for stealing food in the 1300 block of Highway K at 7:43 p.m.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1100 block of Central Parkway at 10:15 p.m.
