O’Fallon new businesses: Coffee, produce, web services, motorcycles, vinyl and more

In reports to the O’Fallon City Council, the city’s Economic Development Department noted that 11 new businesses applied for business licenses in March, 2018.

Those businesses are:

These new businesses could bring as many as 91 full-time jobs to the city, the department reported. Five of the businesses will be in Ward 1, one in Ward 2, one in Ward 3, and four in Ward 5. Three of the businesses are home-based. The largest employer could be Merric Millwork with 70 full-time jobs.

The following O’Fallon businesses were or will be undergoing construction, remodeling or redevelopment projects:

  • Alpha & Omega Cafe, 111 North Main
  • Blue Iguana Car Wash, 1008 Highway K
  • Fred Weber Quarry – reclamation of former quarry
  • Knights of Columbus, 202 West Third Street
  • Lou Fusz expansion, 3470 Highway K
  • McAllister’s Deli – renovation of former Bob Evan’s
  • MJSM expansion, 1400 Grant Industrial Drive
  • Missouri Rush Sports Park Clubhouse
  • Regions Bank, Highway K and Highway N
  • True Manufacturing, 44 Commerce Drive
  • O’Fallon Casting Expansion

The Economic Development Department reported the following O’Fallon businesses as closing in March 2018:

  • Disabled American Veterans
  • Evergreen Spa Massage
  • Hydrocleaners Pressure Washing
  • Langsway
  • New Life Landscape and Lawn Care Service
  • Smoking Hot Cigars
  • Ultimate Fitness for Women
