In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street, and the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Administration Offices, 400 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366, will be closed for the day.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony that will begin at 11 a.m. at O’Fallon Veterans Memorial Walk, 800 Belleau Creek Road, O’Fallon 63366. O’Fallon’s Mayor, Bill Hennessy, will deliver welcoming remarks. The keynote speaker will be Master Sergeant Robert George, U.S. Army, retired.
In addition to the holiday, May 30, Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, 403 Civic Park Drive (63366), will be open for the season daily starting Saturday, May 28, with normal pool hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 7 p.m. on Sundays, and noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. O’Fallon’s indoor recreation complex, the Renaud Spirit Center (RSC) at 2650 Tri Sports Circle (63368) will be open on Memorial Day with special hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
O’Fallon’s trash/recycling service will not change due to the holiday. Residents enrolled in the service should put trash, recycling and yard waste out for collection on their regularly-scheduled day through the week.
