O’Fallon City Council October 11 agenda: Support for Prop D, sale of surplus real estate

The O’Fallon City Council will meet on Thursday, October 11, 2018. The meetings are open to the public and can be viewed on streaming video through the city’s website. Meetings are held in the council chambers at the Municipal Centre, 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon.

On the agenda for the 5:30 p.m. workshop:

  • Sale of surplus properties
  • Possible changes to recycling program
  • Review of upcoming planning and zoning items

On the agenda for the 7:30 p.m. regular meeting:

  • Proclamation for Morgan Moore, Girl Scout Gold Award recipient
  • Final approval of a bill to amend the city code about standards for excavations affecting public right of way
  • Final approval of the plans for the Carriage Hills/Rockaway Drive Drainage Improvement Project
  • Final approval of the plans for the Sundance Drive Drainage Improvement Project
  • Final approval of the plans for the Hawk Run Drive Drainage Improvement Project
  • Final approval of the notice for a general election on Tuesday, April 2
  • Consent calendar: minutes, approval of easements, stormwater management agreement for Pearl Vista, release of temporary construction easement
  • Public comments and first reading of a conditional use permit for vehicle sales at 510 Civic Park Drive
  • First reading of an ordinance clarifying the names of new roadways in the I-70 Outer Road Project
  • First reading of plans for Bramblett Road improvements
  • First reading of the acceptance of streets and sewers for Keystone Ridge
  • Resolution for the Peruque Creek Force and Gravity Sewer Project ($2,256,278)
  • Resolution for design services for the West Lift Station upgrades ($162,183)
  • Resolution for the purchase of new refuse carts ($50,000)
  • Resolutions declaring surplus properties: 929 B North Main Street. near 511 Sonderen Street, near 921 Drug Package Lane, 915 – 918 Bullpen Drive
  • Resolution supporting Missouri Proposition D (gas tax increase, exempting Special Olympic, Paralympic, and Olympic prizes from state taxes, and establishing the Emergency State Freight Bottleneck Fund)
  • Resolution for an agreement for roadway contributions ($100,000)
  • Resolution for the purchase of a wheel loader ($138,667)
  • Resolution to approve taking recycling material to Recycle City in St. Peters
