Murder Charges Filed Against Lake Saint Louis Man in November 4 Shooting


The St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney’s office has issued charges in the case of a Lake Saint Louis resident who shot and killed a would-be car thief.

Charles L. Flagg III, 39, of Monterey Cypress Drive in Lake Saint Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder and first degree involuntary manslaughter.

Bond was set at $100,000, cash only, 10 percent not authorized.

Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announced a press conference at the Lake Saint Louis Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to provide a statement about the charges.
