Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Hitting Steamroller on I-70

A Foley man was seriously injured late Friday in a work zone on Interstate 70 near Foristell.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, James S. Moore, 51, was eastbound on I-70 on a 2007 Harley Davidson when he struck a traffic cone and lost control of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle then hit a steamroller that was parked on the right shoulder of the highway.

Moore was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
