Lake Saint Louis Man Charged for Enticing Child with Pokemon Go

William R. Conner, 47, of Lake St. Louis, was charged yesterday after arranging to meet a young teen for sex after responding to an ad about the online game Pokémon Go.

Conner was charged with felony enticement of a child by the St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office following an investigation by the St. Charles County Cyber Crime Task Force.

Bond was set at $50,000, cash only. A bond reduction hearing is scheduled for July 26.

On July 10, three area teens were arrested in O’Fallon for using the Pokémon Go game to target victims for armed robbery.
