The Lake Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Market opens for its 2017 regular season this Saturday, April 1.
According to the market’s website, the spring market will feature locally raised meats, overwintered vegetables, dried herbs and spices, honey products, and homemade jams and jellies.
In addition to local art, non-food products will include handcrafted soaps, candles, clothing, and dog treats.
On peak days of the season, the market can feature up to 90 vendors. A complete list of the vendors who have signed up to participate in the 2017 season is available on the Saint Louis Farmers and Artists Market website.
The market started in 2009 in O’Fallon, and relocated to The Meadows in Lake Saint Louis in 2012. It will be open, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. until noon every Saturday until November 4.
