Following the success of the 2017 Meadows BeerFest, which attracted more than 2500 guests, The Meadows will host the 2018 Lake St. Louis BeerFest. Krey Distributing is sponsoring this FREE event on Saturday, September 22 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

BeerFest will feature more than a dozen sampling and educational tents with each tent featuring a different craft beer to sample. Beer samples are free to those of legal age. Patrons can purchase beverages at the 24-foot long bar. The bar will be staffed with eight bartenders selling bottles of ice cold beer, soda, and water.

“Our first ever BeerFest last year was a huge success despite the 100+ July degree weather. This year, we moved the popular event to September’s milder temperatures,” said The Meadows’ General Manager, Alysia Kerkove. As the major sponsor of BeerFest, Krey Distributing added more tents than last year so that BeerFest goers could sample more beers.

“BeerFest is sure to have our attendees out of their lawn chairs and dancing to the sounds of The 80’s band,” said Kerkove. “Only at the Meadows can you experience year-round activities.”

“We hope to see all of Lake St. Louis and St. Charles County families and friends celebrate the end of summer and kickoff our fall events.”

On top of the beer and the music, BeerFest goers will have a selection of games to play. One can stroll the Meadows’ grounds watching people play Giant Jenga and Connect Four. Favorites like Pop-A-Shot, Yard-zee, ladder golf, flip cup, and dominoes, all giant, will add to the day of fun while sampling brews. As always, Meadows’ event-goers will get their fill of an array of food trucks including Embers Fired Wood pizza and Yo! Salsa.

“Krey Distributing is proud to be the official sponsor of the Lake St. Louis BeerFest,” said Krey Brand Manager Matt Riechelt. “When we got the call from The Meadows to host the 2018 BeerFest, I knew it would be a natural fit since Krey serves the area community.” Bottles of craft, traditional and light beer will be sold for $5.00 with water and soft drinks sold for $1.00. “Krey is proud to bring such affordability to the people of Lake St. Louis and beyond,” said Riechelt.

Additional events are being planned including the annual Monsters on The Meadows Halloween Event on October27th, and festivities throughout the holiday season.  Details, as released, will be updated on The Meadows website at
